How to Verify Digital Art Rarity
Rarity is only meaningful when the claim is specific. Determine whether it refers to the token, artwork file, edition, trait or creator release before drawing conclusions.

Review total supply, token IDs and mint events on the marketplace and explorer. Be alert to related contracts issuing similar work.

Examine provenance
A creator-linked mint and continuous token history can support provenance. Screenshots and social posts cannot replace the on-chain record.

Do not equate rarity with demand
Scarcity can be verified without predicting whether anyone will want to buy the work. Keep factual rarity and market expectation separate.
